DPS AdTracker™:AdTraffic Controller is a deadline aware solution to ad building and provides a fully electronic automatic workflow. Directly within the DPS AdTracker™ X Client designers are automatically presented with the “next hottest ad” requiring production or corrections. All materials, notes and layouts are easily and instantly accessible.

The system constantly re-evaluates all the ads in the system based on deadline and only presents users with ads that have materials and are ready for production. Unlike traditional systems that require manual assignment of each ad to a specific user, DPS AdTracker™:AdTraffic Controller automatically places ads in design pools based on ad complexity. These pools of ads are automatically distributed to the appropriately skilled designers so that they build the ads you need completed next for deadline.

DPS AdTracker™:AdTraffic Controller also provides a management interface where supervisors are able to adjust the priority of an ad in a pool, to force an ad to the “top priority” or manually assign an ad for production by a specific designer.

Enterprise Edition extends our existing products giving them multi-site capabilities. This minimizes administrative overhead by allowing regional or corporate IT departments to centralize DPS AdTracker™. Our products work in both hub-and-spoke and centrally-hosted consolidation models.

Express Edition allows ad production shops with a smaller workforce, ad agencies or advertisers to have Enterprise-class Ad Tracking features on a budget.

Instead of a hodge-podge of folders containing ad documents and artwork, Express Edition tracks materials centrally with a database.  No special skills are needed, as it connects your exisitng print and online ad production applications such as InDesign, Quark, Creator, Photoshop and Flash.  Ad materials display on a convenient palette within your application so that you can simply drag them directly on to the document.

Express Edition also includes the DPS AdTracker™:Online Web Portal.  This allows customers to submit materials, view ad proofs and make corrections.  Sales Representatives can also order both spec and live ads from the portal.

All of this is provided to you on a pre-installed DPS Appliance, so no specialized IT skills are necessary.  We ship you the pre-configured equipment (mini-server and backup) and train your entire staff.  Just plug and go.  After training, you will be up and going within an hour!

The latest release of DPS AdTracker™ X for Windows now natively supports Presentation Virtualization with both industry-leading thin client environments:  Citrix and Microsoft Windows Terminal Services.

What is Presentation Virtualization?  Why should I consider it?
Presentation Virtualization makes it possible to run an application in one location but have it be controlled in another. With either Citrix or Windows Terminal Services presentation virtualization, you can install and manage applications on centralized servers in the data center; screen images are delivered to the users, and the users’ client machines, in turn, send keystrokes and mouse movements back to the server. When using Presentation Virtualization, administrators can present users with the individual applications and data they require to complete their task, or the whole remote desktop. From a user perspective, these applications are integrated seamlessly—looking, feeling, and behaving like local applications. All of this occurs over a lightweight network connection, also making it ideal for service bureaus, remote offices and home access. These client systems need minimal hardware specifications and can even run on hardware “thin client” devices such as Wyse Terminals.

Drag-and-drop materials submission.   

DPS AdTracker™:Online X now allows users to submit materials by simply dragging individual elements or entire folders on the upload screen. The system automatically determines the file types submitted and files them accordingly into the jacket.

Know when all materials are submitted.  

It is now possible for the user to automatically notify you that they have submitted all the materials for an ad. With a single checkbox, the system can change the status of the ad to indicate that all materials are in and the ad is ready for production.

Easier materials submission to a specific ad.

A user can submit materials directly to a specific ad by clicking on the ad in the main window and then clicking SUBMIT.

Simplified correction workflow.

The new upload dialog has provisions for corrections. Users who opt to submit corrections can now use a unified workflow that is the same as the original submission process.

Support for Flash Web Ads. 

DPS AdTracker™:Online X now fully supports both file submission, notification and electronic proofing of Adobe Flash Web Ads.

Find ads faster.
“Spotlight”-style search capabilities allow the user to quickly filter ads by only typing a portion of the ad number. The ad spreadsheet filters the ads as you type!
- If your ads start with common numbers, such as leading zeros, there is no need to type them.
- If you wish to find a range of ad numbers such as SPEC165805 through SPEC165809, simply type “SPEC16580”.
- Type just enough digits of the ad number to make it unique.
- On-screen filters allow you to drill down quickly to find ads.
- Access your saved Advanced Queries with a single click.
- Filter only the ads you are working on by checking a box.
If an ad is not found, all publications are searched automatically.

When you highlight an ad, you can now see a thumbnail preview of the ad as well as the most important fields from the Electronic Ad Jacket.

Context menus speed tasks.
By Right-Clicking (or Control-Clicking) on an ad, you immediately have access to the most common actions that you can perform.

Quick drag-and-drop attachment.
When an ad is highlighted, you can now drag individual pieces of art or folders to the “Quick Attach” area to have it automatically added to the Electronic Ad Jacket. Dropping an element while holding down the SHIFT key will rename the art and convert it into an Electronic Ad.

Customize the Advanced Query window.
The Advanced Query Window now has the ability to set the current search criteria to the default query or to use an existing query as the default query.

Make History.
It is now easier than ever to view the history of an ad and even add to it. History is now available from the Mini-Expand Window, Expand Window, Context and View menus. You can even add your own events!
